Heliconia Duo at the Lighthouse, Poole

Catriona plays flute with classical guitarist Julia Seibert in a duo concert at this iconic venue in Dorset. The duo’s repertoire includes classical and folk music from around the world, ranging from South American choro to Argentinian tango to Romanian, Macedonian and North American folk tunes.

Concert at St. Mary Magdalene, Woodstock

Catriona performs in an evening of Poetry & Music, including Betjeman and others, at St Mary Magdalene Church, Woodstock. Tickets (£10.00) are available in advance from the Woodstock Bookshop, 23 Oxford Street, and Woodstock Post Office, as well as at the door on the night. Payment by Cash & Cheque made payable to: “St Mary Magdalene Church” only.

Proceeds to St Mary Magdalene Church Roof Restoration Fund.

Pandemonium at Clapham Common

Catriona plays flute for this collaborative project between artist/designer Christie Swallow and composer Jessica Roch, exploring how humans and parakeets might communicate in meaningful ways. Building on Christie’s work as Design Researcher in Residence at the Design Museum’s Future Observatory, Jessica has notated the repertoire of the London Ring-Neck Parakeet. This has been developed into an experimental composition for Flute, Violin, Soprano and synthesiser.

In this event, we will be bringing together both human and parakeet audiences. This is a recorded live performance at the bandstand on Clapham Common, which will then be exhibited at the Design Museum in the Artificial Show, Opening June 15th. Details are available here.

Enya with the Fulltone Orchestra

Catriona plays harp with the Fulltone Orchestra, alongside the incredible voices of Cantiamo, to revive Enya’s pivotal Watermark album and a whole host of awesome New Age music!

Set on the sensational Marlborough College Memorial Hall stage in a stunning light show, this is a rare opportunity for music lovers to experience the timeless beauty of Enya’s work in all its glory.

Arranged for orchestra and voices, especially, it will transport audiences back to the late 1980s. It will appear alongside other hits such as Riverdance, Enigma, Clannad, and Karl Jenkins – hits that again will transport you to a magical place.

Watermark was Enya's second studio album, but was her first major commercial success. It catapulted her to international fame, largely due to the popularity of the hit single Orinoco Flow. The album is known for its ethereal, multi-layered sound, blending Celtic, classical, and ambient influences.

Triquetra Album Launch

Catriona launches her debut album Triquetra with her jazz quartet at Toulouse Lautrec.

Strong jazz, classical and folk influences can be heard throughout Triquetra, as well as subtle nuances of other genres. Inspirations range from Francis Poulenc to Alice Coltrane and the compositions draw from Catriona's Scottish heritage, as well as a nostalgia for lost times and places. Triquetra brings together an ensemble of up-and-coming musicians at the forefront of the UK jazz scene, consisting of Francis Tulip on guitar, Joe Bainbridge on drums and James Owston on bass.

Léa Mondo at Crazy Coqs

Catriona makes an appearance on harp as part of Léa Mondo’s band in Crazy Coqs’ late night show.

The charismatic Léa has a hotbed of experimental music fused from soul, and high life, to bossa- nova, jazz, and reggae. Drawing inspiration from reggae icon Bob Marley, and Malian artists such as Fatoumata Diawara and Rokia Traorè; and SADE. Her music largely talks about life, love, peace, and freedom while reflecting on the state of the world.

Philip Carne Chamber Music Competition Final at Conway Hall

Catriona plays flute alongside pianist Raymond Wui-Man Yiu and percussionist Ethan Windle as part of the Bolling Trio, performing Joseph Schwantner’s Taking Charge in London’s Conway Hall in the final of the 2024 Carne Chamber Competition.

Ethan, Raymond and Catriona began playing together in 2022, when they were Finalists in the 2022 Carne Chamber Competition performing Bolling’s Suite No. 1 at St. John’s Smith Square. They have subsequently continued to play together in a range of concert series both in and out of London, ranging from St. James’ Piccadilly to Famington Farm, South Warwickshire. They have commissioned and premiered new works by composers including Asha Parkinson and TL alum Nathen Durasamy, and are grateful to be supported in their activities by the Colin Blythe Award.
